If you are just looking for a brainstorming session off the top of my head.

1. Wireless data devices such Blackberry, Iphone, Palm
2. Application software such as Microsoft Office

One that I was playing with was a Technical Dispatcher service similar to taxi dispatcher. This call center would take calls for a variety of business and would dispatch techs on demand. Kind of like a broker looking around for the best deal for the client. Okay it still needs work. You would need to develop a relationship with different technical troubleshooting services. I guess this is more of business than a new process.
