Spam from New Members
Thank you to all of you who sent me an email about an inappropriate comment sent to you from a new "member." I immediately banned the person from the site.
I am so sorry you had to endure the spam content before I got back on line. Please know that I try to be diligent to keep your experience "non commercial" and full of integrity. Unfortunately, when I ban a person, it doesn't erase the notation at the top of your profile that a comment was made to your profile - it only erases the actual comment. I believe you can delete the notation by clicking the "x" next to the notation. If you received an email that Oriana Mercado posted a comment to your profile, you will not see a comment.
One of the reasons I ask people to register on the site is so I can monitor their activities for the first couple of weeks on the site. If they cross our guidelines I may warn them and the second offence, I ban them. But in instances like tonight, I immediately ban them from the site.
Monitoring is difficult because there are so many places people can disrespect our members and our site. Your diligence in emailing me is WONDERFUL. Thank you.

Please email me with ANY questions or concerns. I am on this site several hours every day.
